Radio Scotland 242 broadcast from a radio ship anchored in international waters off the coast of Scotland. They could be heard on 242 meters on the Medium Wave Band. To honour this popular radio station from the 60’s who’s fate was sealed over 53 years ago we have adopted “242 Radio” as our name in remembrance of said station. From time to time we hope to recreate the sounds of these yesterday years.
