Forest FM (and it's previous incarnation Verwood FM) has been established for over 10 years and has been actively campaigning throughout this time for a permanent, 24 hour local radio service for the area to the west of the New Forest.
Forest FM is a community radio station based in Verwood, Dorset broadcasting across the surrounding areas of East Dorset offering music and local information.
The station was launched on 9 July 2006 after being awarded a community radio license by Ofcom.
