Apple FM is a Community Radio Station that launched 10am on 11 May 2013. Aimed at providing a service for the care community of Taunton Deane, we have a wide range of programmes suitable for all types and ages of people. Based locally, we really believe we are serving the local community. We cover local events, weather, traffic and travel in and around Taunton.

Hello Clare. I'm sorry, we are not Hospital Radio! We are Community Radio for the public of Taunton Deane and broadcast on 97.3 on FM radios and online only. I am sorry to day that the description on this website about us is VERY old - we have had nothing to do with it and only just found out that we were listed on here earlier today! There is no Hospital Radio at Musgrove Park Hospital for at least 8 years now. All of the bedside units have been decommissioned and there is no bedside entertainment units anymore, we believe.

Hello I was wondering if the hospital radio is accessible on the wards without a smartphone? Are there headphones available which can be plugged in to listen? Thank you!
