Hospital Radio Lynn broadcasts live programmes to the patients of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn between the hours of 4pm and 11pm, although this does vary. Patients can hear our programmes by selecting Channel One on their Hospedia consoles. Our channel is totally free of charge to all listeners.
Hospital Radio Lynn has been broadcasting since 18th April 1974. Sunday through to Friday, 2 hours of programming is dedicated entirely to patient's Requests and Dedications.
The primary aim of our service is to help relieve boredom and isolation - a stay in hospital can cause, helping to relieve sickness and infirmity by providing a pleasant distraction, a chat with one of our Ward Visitors, hearing a favourite piece of music or even laughing along with some of our presenters.
